STEVE LEYH

Leyh is an entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience as a business leader.

He was selected as Executive Director of Tucker County Development Authority in November 2017. In this position, Leyh also serves on the Corridor H Highway Authority and the West Virginia Hardwood Zone Alliance. Leyh is responsible for the overall development and implementation of the economic development strategy for Tucker County.

Previously, Leyh was executive director of the Downtown Development Commission in Cumberland, Maryland where he was responsible for overseeing the administration, programming and initiatives of the organization. His other key duties included interacting with businesses to help expand and create new jobs, marketing, event production, fundraising and community outreach. He simultaneously worked as promotions director for the Canal Place Preservation & Development Authority believing that collaboration between the two organizations was a key to success.
